Dr. Carmona attended dental school and completed a fellowship in Periodontics at the University of Costa Rica. She has since received Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) along with a Pediatric Dentistry Specialty and a Master’s degree, also from NSU.
Dr. Carmona is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Southeastern Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She is dedicated to serving those in need and has participated in various charities including the Give Kids a Smile Program and other overseas groups helping underprivileged children.
Originally from Cuba, Dr. Carmona grew up in beautiful Costa Rica. She and her husband, Dr. David Carmona, have two children, Daniel and Mia. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling and staying in shape with Zumba.
Dr. Carmona received his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics from Nova Southeastern University, and has served as a professor of orthodontics for several years. He is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists, and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. He has also participated in a variety of charity programs in underprivileged areas of Haiti and Costa Rica.
